ABOUT

 

Columbia Bethelehem Community Center is an advance special ministry of the United Methodist Church.





Established in 1945 under the auspices of the Methodist Church National Division of Missionary Society in New York City, and the Missionary Council of the Methodist Church of South Carolina, the CBCC is a non-profit organization with a rich history of supporting its community. With a mission of educating and enriching lives of individuals and families, the CBCC continuously evolves to meet the relevant needs of its community offering various services throughout the years such as afterschool programs, youth summer camps, GED preparation courses, and job training.

 

Today, the CBCC continues to offer programs that are relevant to its community which include after school tutoring, youth summer and spring break camps. An added focus has been the introduction to the arts through the making of mini-films.  CBCC also hosts various events through out the year for the community in the areas of health and wellness, education and service.

 

The Columbia Bethlehem Community Center is a historical multi-service agency now serving residents of the Riverview Terrace and Broad River Height community in Columbia, South Carolina.
